LAGOS CHAPTER EXECUTIVES VISIT THE NIFST NATIONAL PRESIDENT.

The Lagos Chapter executives, ably led by the Chairperson, Mrs. Kikelomo Amoreoluwa, paid a courtesy visit to the National President, Dr. Bola Osinowo, at the BMS Office, Oshodi, Lagos, on April 3, 2025. They were warmly received by the BMS Team, led by NIFST President and CEO of BMS International Limited, Dr. Bola Osinowo, alongside our emeritus past President Mr. Wole Toye.

The visit was aimed at congratulating Dr. Osinowo who is an outstanding member of the Chapter on his assumption as the National President of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST) and to commend him for his unflinching support for the Chapter, while wishing him and his team of National Executives great strides in their tenure.

The National President commended the initiative and assured the Chapter Executives of his continued support.
The team of Chapter Executives equally pledged their allegiance to promote the ideals of the Institute, as the Chapter collaborates with our parent body – NIFST National to ensure Food Security Safety and Sustainability in Nigeria.

In attendance were Mrs. Kikelomo Amoreoluwa (Chairman), Mr. Oludare Ojo (Vice Chairman), Mrs. Ifeoma Ugbo (General Secretary), Mrs. Olutoyin Edgar (Financial Secretary), Mrs. Idowu Alaba (Treasurer), Mrs. Ayodeji Abe (Publicity Secretary), Mr Akeem Olowoporoku (Welfare Secretary), Ms. Onyinyechi Nwaokoro (Ex-Officio II), Mr. Akinyele Ogunji (Ex-Officio III).

The BMS Team comprised: Dr. Bola Osinowo (National President), Ms. Seun Adeniran, Mr. Ganiu Oluwatosin and Mr. Wole Toye (Emeritus Past President)

The visit was a resounding success, reinforcing collaboration and unity within the institute.

  1. NIFST Lagos Executives were elated at the warm welcome by our amiable NIFST President in the ambience of his BMS Office. In line with our mantra in NIFST Lagos Chapter, we would not relent in our efforts at Upscaling NIFST while building stronger bonds with our National body through meaningful and impactful collaborations!

  2. Lagos Chapter of Nigeria Institute of Food Science and Technology have done greatly in ensuring there is safe food and water for all and sundry.

    There has been a widespread sensitisation and enlightenment to consumers and even to the market women.

    Kudos to NIFST, LAGOS CHAPTER.
