The executives of NIFST FIIRO ZONE had a familiarization and sensitization visit to the Directors in FIIRO Zone who are pillars of the zone.

The visitation tour got to the offices of Dr. Mrs Huthman (Director. Production, Analytical and Laboratory Management), Dr. Mrs Oluwole, O B (Director Food Technology Dept), Dr Onu (Director, Project Design and Development), Dr Lawal, A. k (Director, Biotechnology Department), Mr. Ajayi Timothy (Director, Planning, Technology Transfer Information Management), Dr Adeyoju (Deputy Director PALM), Dr Onyibe, J (Deputy Director Biotechnology).

The directors and deputy directors all pledged their support for the Zone and Institute.

The Director Food Technology department Dr Mrs Oluwole O. B urged the zone to channel their activities towards food safety and security as this is a major challenge facing the teeming global population as there’s a hunger ravaging globally.

The visit also extended to the NIFST Secretariat where the team met with Secretariat staff.

The team led by Coordinator Dr Kosoko promised to put all advice given in ensuring that the mandate and objectives of the institute is achieved.
