NIFST Lagos Chapter went all out this year to spread the news of food safety knowledge as our CSR to the nation?
Food Safety is really Everybody’s Business. Hence , everyone has a role to play in preparing for unexpected food safety concerns that might arise.
Absolutely, ma.
We have to be proactive and must envisage any issue before they occur.
Kudos to Nifst, Lagos chapter for another successful food safety awareness campaign. Let us sustain the awareness by continual reminders in our daily encounters with food handlers. Food professionals must find a way to be included in food policy formulation and implementation at the governance level in Nigeria. One way of achieving that goal is through sustained advocacy.
Waoh! What an experience! Catching them in the act of sharp practices and correcting them in love. Impacting the knowledge of food safety in a glamorous way of singing and dancing with the market women and men, yet passing the message through songs, flyers and banners. It’s indeed a wonderful experience serving humanity with your profession.
NIFST Lagos Chapter went all out this year to celebrate WFSD with more than the usual pomp and gaiety. Lessons were taught and learnt, professionals spoke in native languages to drive home the gains of observing food safety habits in markets. Kudos to the chapter and its leaders.
